You are probably here to sign in. The official portal is arrima.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca, it is available in French only, and this page explains how to reach it, what you can do inside, and what to check when the sign-in page will not load.
How to Reach the Arrima Sign-In Page
The portal has one official address: arrima.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca. It redirects to a routing page where you choose the type of account you hold. Anything ending in a different domain is not the Government of Quebec, whatever the page looks like — only addresses ending in gouv.qc.ca belong to the Quebec government.
Arrima serves three kinds of users: individuals, employers, and authorized representatives. The account you open determines what you see, so a representative acting for someone else does not use that person's personal account.
Why the Portal Is Only in French
Quebec.ca states plainly that access to Arrima is in French only. This is not a display bug or a wrong regional version, and there is no English button hidden in a menu. Quebec publishes explanatory material in English on quebec.ca, but the platform where you actually create the account and submit the file operates in French.
A browser translation can help you find your way around the interface, but it should not be trusted for the content you submit. Program names, job titles, diploma names, and civil-status terms carry legal weight in a selection file, and an automatic translation of your own answers is exactly the kind of imprecision that creates a contradiction between your form and your documents later.
What You Can Actually Do Once Signed In
Quebec.ca lists what Arrima is used for: the Programme de sélection des travailleurs qualifiés (Skilled Worker Selection Program); the Programme de l'expérience québécoise, whose intake opened at 8:30 a.m. Montreal time on 2 July 2026; electronic submission of documents for students and foreign students; collective sponsorship of a refugee abroad, which is suspended until 31 December 2029; the Programme des travailleurs étrangers temporaires; Accompagnement Québec; the Employer Portal; the comparative tool for diplomas obtained abroad; French learning services; and powers of attorney.
That breadth explains a common confusion. Arrima is not a single application form — it is the door to several distinct services. Knowing which one your case belongs to before you sign in saves you from filling the wrong file.
When the Sign-In Page Will Not Load
The portal is a JavaScript application and says so: with scripts disabled it displays nothing but a notice that the site requires JavaScript. A blank or half-drawn page is therefore most often a browser problem, not an outage — a script blocker, a strict privacy extension, a corporate network filter, or a browser too old to run the application. Trying another browser, or the same browser with extensions disabled, resolves this more often than waiting.
For anything touching the account itself — a password that no longer works, a locked account, a message that does not appear, a document that will not upload — the platform publishes its own answers to technical questions and a set of video tutorials in French. Those are the only sources that can act on your file. Never send your Arrima credentials to a third party, including a consultant: an authorized representative is declared inside the system through a power of attorney, and never needs your password.
Before You Log In
Before entering the Arrima portal, prepare the information you will need: identity, passport details, education history, work history, language results, spouse or partner details if applicable, Quebec ties, and the occupation you intend to use as your primary profession. A rushed profile can create problems later because the information may need to be proven if Quebec invites you to apply.
What the Portal Is Used For
Arrima is used to submit an expression of interest and interact with Quebec’s skilled-worker selection process. It is not the same as an IRCC account, Express Entry profile, visitor visa portal, or permanent residence portal. Quebec selection and federal permanent residence are two different stages. If you receive a CSQ from Quebec, you still need to apply to IRCC for permanent residence.
Profile Accuracy
Accuracy matters more than speed. Your job title should be supported by actual duties, not by what sounds more attractive. Your education should match transcripts and diplomas. Your French and English levels should match valid test results when required. If you are married or in a common-law relationship, spouse information can affect strategy and should be entered carefully.
Monitoring Invitations
Quebec publishes invitation criteria for PSTQ. Instead of checking only whether the portal opens, candidates should monitor which profiles are being invited. If the recent criteria consistently target French levels or specific occupations that do not match your profile, the correct next step may be improving French, changing province strategy, or strengthening a work-permit route.
Security and Fraud Prevention
Use only official Quebec websites for login and submission. Be careful with agents promising guaranteed Arrima invitations or hidden quotas. No consultant can create an invitation if the profile does not match Quebec’s selection criteria. Keep your login secure, save copies of submitted information, and avoid sharing passwords.
