Editorial Policy

Canadian immigration is high-stakes. Our editorial process is designed to make CanadaPathways useful while clearly separating educational information from legal advice.

Source Hierarchy

When we explain a rule, we prioritize official and primary sources over commentary. Our preferred source hierarchy is:

  1. IRCC and Canada.ca program pages, operational updates, fee pages, and official tools.
  2. Quebec government immigration pages for Quebec-specific pathways such as PSTQ, Arrima, CSQ, and PEQ.
  3. Provincial nominee program pages for province-specific criteria, draws, fees, and stream closures.
  4. Professional interpretation only when official wording requires context, and never as a substitute for the official rule.

Review Standard

Each guide is reviewed for basic factual accuracy, outdated program names, obsolete deadlines, fee changes, program closures, official links, and unclear risk warnings. Pages that involve changing policy include a 2026 review note or official verification box where appropriate.

We do not guarantee that every page reflects a rule changed after the stated review date. Readers should always verify final details on official government pages before submitting an application or paying a fee.

Corrections and Updates

Correction requests can be sent to admin@operoncore.com. Include the page URL, the sentence or section involved, and the official source that supports the correction. We prioritize corrections involving eligibility, fees, deadlines, inadmissibility, program closures, and official-source changes.
