Confirm that your DLI and program are PGWP eligible before relying on the route. Program length, credential type, study history, online study, transfer history, and authorized leaves can all matter. The PGWP should be planned before the final semester, not after the completion letter arrives.

- Valid passport long enough for intended permit duration.
- Study permit and current status documents.
- Language proof if required for your program category.
- Field-of-study verification if your program is subject to that rule.
- Application timeline within the 180-day completion window.
Risk Review
Review part-time terms, program transfers, leaves from study, remote study, passport expiry, and any previous PGWP. If one of these facts is complicated, verify official instructions or get professional advice before filing.
